Denver International Airport (DEN) is a major US airport, so there are about seven airport parking lots at which you can reserve a space in advance.
- DIA Park – features self-park and covered parking
- Canopy Airport Parking
- US Airport Parking
Denver International Airport, unlike many airports, is more commonly referred to by its acronym of DIA rather than its airport code of DEN. It is actually quite a distance from Denver – it is 23 miles away, off E470. DIA was once voted the top North American airport (in 2005), and features a distinctive roofline which is meant to suggest the nearby mountains. Denver is a major hub for United Airlines, Frontier Airlines, and Ted, and although Southwest Airlines does not technically consider DIA a hub it does have frequent flights to and from Denver. The airport features the usual shops and dining establishments, as well as a massage bar and WiFi throughout the terminal (for a fee). For traffic information, see the Colorado Department of Transportation’s website.
